Web Analytics

Web analytics is a method of measuring, collecting, analysing and reporting internet data with a purpose of understanding how a website is used by its public and to optimize its usability. By using a statistic tool, it is possible to study visitors, how they navigate, the different traffic patterns and set up targets, according to how well we achieve our set goals, KPI (Key Performance Indicators)

We at Artamus work with several different tools but Google Analytics is our most familiar area. Google Analytics is a free measuring tool which can produce over 80 different reports and it has a borderline which is adapted for the common user. It is possible to set a goal up and measure how well the website procures these goals. The goal is decided together with the client, keeping in mind that it is about sales, newsletter annoucements, downloading of documents etc. The tool is integrated with Adwords and thus it becomes possible to follow different types of campaigns.
